JOB SUMMARY
Assist the Engineering Manager in the following aspects:
• Planning of projects - prepares schedules using MS Project, taking account of timing and resources needed;
• Prepare project cost estimates;
• Quarterly and annual planning of road maintenance and other projects, and preparation of budgets;
• Monitoring Technical Audits - Monitoring of project costs against cost estimates and priced contracts projects costs;
• Prepare monthly and other reports as requested / required;
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS
ESc in Civil Engineering.
Computer literate with excellent skills with MS Office and MS Project Planning Software.
Valid Class C license.

SALARY: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

PURPOSE
To ensure that the PWC equipment and transport fleet is effectively utilised, maintained and associated manpower is effectively managed.
 
RESPONSIBE TO:

JOB SUMMARY
With regard to all plant (equipment & transport) owned by PWC:
•	Plan, prepare and manage regular maintenance;
•	Liaise with the Mechanical Manager and to ensure that regular maintenance / repair work is carried out as planned;
•	Receive requisition forms for vehicles and equipment from Engineers and use for preparation of allocation schedules;
•	Maintain a schedule for the allocation of plant / equipment that provides daily, weekly and monthly forecasts;
•	Have knowledge for the use and project location of plant at all times;
•	Have knowledge of the condition of all plant and the status of spares requisitioned - ensure completion of the form estab
lished for this purpose;
•	Supervise operators and allocate them as per planning schedule;
•	Ensure all forms associated with plant and operating costs;
•	Maintain an up-to-date status/report chart of plant and provide necessary reports to senior management;
•	In liaison with the Engineering Manager, prepare a list of future plant requirements;
•	Ensure that all vehicles travelling on public roads are licensed and insured and operators/drivers have valid licenses:
•	Prepare monthly or any reports as required/requested
•	Any other duties assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma + 5 years suitable experience, or CXC subjects including Maths, English + 10 years relevant experience. Computer literate with good skills with MS Office. Valid drivers Class C license.
